Teacher Graduation Ceremony in Masters of Science from Buffalo State (State University of New York) in Kuwait.

Last weekend, Thirteen local teachers from seven private schools graduated with a Masters of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies and a Certificate in Special Education for International Teachers from Buffalo State SUNY (State University of New York). The event was hosted at Al Bayan Bilingual School, under the patronage of two visiting professors from New York who presided over the commencement: Mr. Henry Nicols, MS, Faculty SUNY Buffalo, and Dr. Susan Baum, International Education Program Director, from Buffalo. Also in attendance was Mr. Thomas Quinn BBS Director, Ms. Loa Midford FSIS Principal, and Ms. Lynda Abdul Raheem, Professional Development Coordinator. The graduation was followed by a short reception for family and friends of the graduates.
The Graduate Masters Program took place in the State of Kuwait, through FAWSEC Educational Company that oversees both Al Bayan Bilingual School And Fawzia Sultan International School, coordinated by Ms. Lynda Abdul Raheem, the Professional Development Coordinator. Moreover, Buffalo State SUNY is accredited by the Commission of Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and by the Board of Regents, State University of New York. The National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) accredits the professional education programs.
Graduates are: Amber Wyne, Audrey Nomdoe, David McKnight, Faisal Quraishi, Hala Almir Ahmad, Joseph Chacko, Maryam A. J. Khatib, Natalia Guerra, Padmavathi Sreenivasan, Rama Muthukrishnan, Rola Al-Ghosain, Shaila D’Costa,and Zlatka Gaydarova-Stoilova
